The 4-Sight FAX version 6 will fulfill four important customer objectives:

1. Deliver a significant speed increase
2. Improve and expand the product’s capabilities
3. Simplify the user experience
4. Improve product reliability

The items below contain new or updated features available only in version 6.

1. Major speed improvement: A five-fold improvement for opening the version 6 fax client, a ten-fold speed improvement for queuing fax (1000+) broadcasts and a hundred-fold speed improvement for queuing large fax (5000+) broadcasts.

2. Automatic end user fax notification: Under version 6, even when the program is closed, users can receive fax notification and immediately open and review new faxes within seconds.

3. Apple Address Book Support: With support for Apple’s OS X address book, users will be able to integrate contacts fax numbers and e-mail addresses from 3 distinct sources: their local 4-Sight FAX address book, their local Apple Address book and the server's centralized and newly expanded address book.

4. Expanding server address book for 20 fields: Previously, under version 5, the Fax Server address book had a maximum capacity of 4 fields.

5. Convenient automated program update notification and installation.

6. Connection to multiple fax servers concurrently: For multiple fax server customers, other new features provide the ability to centrally monitor and manage all faxes from a single client.

7. Planned support for upcoming Macintosh Tiger OS

8. Improved cover page editor: The improved version 6 cover page editor includes a more intuitive interface and provides greater flexibility allowing users to drag and drop multiple instances of any merge field.

9. User configurable/alternate port# preference for the fax server.

10. Caller ID capability with logging and Block List fax blocking for Junk Fax: New Caller ID capabilities are built into version 6 and integrated within the fax log. Furthermore, Caller ID provides the capability to create black lists and block repetitive unwanted junk faxes.

11. Line control for faxing: Users can specify the outgoing fax line any fax will be sent on, providing improved workflow and accounting.

12. Expanded import capability under Dialing Area code rules.
