• 4-Sight FAX Server Version 7 is a universal binary application, providing 100% compatibility with Intel-based Macs, including the Xserve Xeon-based 64-bit servers, along with existing PowerPC-based Macs. Version 7 is also certified Leopard compatible. Version 6 development and support was discontinued in the 4th quarter, 2007.

• To be released late Summer, 2008 is the 4-Sight FAX Windows 64 bit print driver providing Windows Vista compatibility.

• Introducing the 4-Sight FAX Client fax annotation tool -- enabling you to draw, write, type, copy, paste, erase, undo, save and forward modified faxes. Always retaining the unchanged original fax, users can forward marked-up fax copies to others via fax or e-mail with the 4-Sight FAX E-mail Suite. 

• Audit trail  -- 4-Sight FAX Users can now document all successfully sent or received faxes thanks to a new server-side Receipt Confirmation feature. These confirmation records cannot be altered, so they can be used as official legal documentation for fax transactions. Official confirmation receipts can be printed and, with implementation of the E-mail Suite, Users can receive a copy via e-mail as well. 

• Modem support has expanded to include all Apple internal modems, the MultiTech MT9234MU and the MultiTech MT9234ZBA USB v92 modems, the MultiTech 5634ZBA-DID Router/Modem, the Zoom 3095-F USB modem, the US Robotics 5637 USB modem and the lower-cost Apple USB modem.

• Client users now have direct access to the 4-Sight FAX Server address book. Authorized client users now have the ability to add, edit, and delete address book entries located on the server.

• Dramatically improved import speed for the client address book enables users to import 10,000-plus entries in seconds vs. minutes. 

• Advanced Client Fax Viewer options, including advancing through multiple faxes with a one-click navigation tool.

• Inactive Client users can be logged out by an Administrator immediately or at a pre-specified times established at the FAX server.

• Individual FAX client users can also customize their own fax printing options, which were previously directed at all users. For example, any user can elect to have their incoming and/or outgoing faxes printed to a specific personal printer or delivered paperless to their fax client. 

• Advanced archive and search tools. The Fax Archive system provides quick access to a company's entire fax history by individual fax archive queues, or by date.

• Version 7 users can now view archived faxes in both TIFF & PDF format.

• New Fax Blocking feature allows both Users and Administrators to add a sender's fax number to the new "block" or "junk fax" list. 

• Mac OS X users also gain an intelligent dock item that displays the number of new unread faxes received. 

• Duplicate Client Address Book entry that allows users to copy contact entries with a single keystroke

• Type-ahead search tool in the Fax Composer client address book, giving users the ability to readily locate fax recipients while composing faxes.

• Enhanced International Dialing Support, including recognition of "+" characters.

• Support for FaxPack version 7 for Filemaker Pro, 4th Dimension, REALbasic and C++ applications.
