Soft Solutions is pleased to announce the automatic bundling of the 7.5 Web Client feature with any new or renewed 4-Sight FAX customer Update and Support plans. Any 4-Sight FAX Customer not on the Annual Update and Support plan can still purchase the annual Web Client License, which starts at $125 / year for a 5 user license.

4-Sight FAX Customers who are currently enrolled in the Annual Update and Support plan can renew early to receive the 4-Sight FAX Web Client License for free. All plans renewed early will receive the Web Client feature through the end of their renewed plan expiration date. This is currently a limited time special offer.

With the 4-Sight FAX Web Client and a Smart Phone, any text message is now only a single click away from your faxes.

Using the built-in text message notification capabilities of the 4-Sight FAX Server coupled with the 4-Sight FAX Web Client, users are texted a tiny URL link giving them direct access to their faxes.

With a single click, users can launch the web client, authenticate their user log-in (automatically entering their name and password), specify their preferred language (any of twelve are currently available) and open their fax in a PDF file.

This normally complicated and frustrating, time-sapping process is now reduced to one step. Making you free to be your virtual self again.

Soft Solutions announces 4-Sight FAX Client 7.5.4, adding valuable signature and stamp annotation tools

Addressing important daily demands for the medical and legal communities, this update minimizes and simplifies the number of steps necessary to handle the signing and forwarding of a received fax.

Allowing up to 5 unique signature stamps, the newly updated 4-Sight FAX 7.5.4 Client allows each user to store requisite signatures or stamps locally, on their hard drive. This allows physicians and attorneys to approve and forward faxes fast and easily versus the traditional multi-step burden of printing, signing, scanning, naming and filing the return fax document.

Under the 4-Sight FAX Client-Server architecture, all faxes are stored centrally at the fax server, yet the end-user authentication and authorization occurs locally at the Client software. This allows proprietary signatures to be controlled and accessed by only those persons who have the authority to do so within the Client software.

This release also corrects a problem for certain printers where faxes appeared with inverted colors when printing.

Soft Solutions announces 4-Sight FAX Server 7.5.5, providing improved modem communications

The 4-Sight FAX Server 7.5.5 release increases product reliability, stability and error recovery handling – specifically to the modem communications area of the 4-Sight FAX Server internal fax engine.

Included in the 7.5.5 Server update are numerous fax transmission enhancements and error fixes to the T.30 fax modem communications. The T.30 improvements provide reduced time between sending faxes and reduced time sending faxes. Users will also experience faster modem reset and faster recovery from dropped fax line communications.

4-Sight FAX Server 7.5.5 improves modem error handling and recovery for remote modem-fax machine time-outs while improving the resiliency and recovery for dropped lines, lost dial-tone and delayed responses. This update also expands logic for improved handling of corrupted, compromised and large multi-page incoming faxes. Lastly, this update addresses certain underlying Macintosh OS X port related anomalies known to cause Class 1 communication errors with Apple USB ports and devices.

4-Sight FAX 7.5 is equipped to lead the way with Internet fax capabilities, providing more enhanced features and functionalities. Unlike current Internet fax services, the in-house fax server provides complete control with encrypted user log-in security. Because companies can now free themselves from being held captive to hefty third party / per fax pricing, there need not be any limits on fax volume, the number of recipients or the number of attachments per fax. The savings can be significant, because users are not charged per fax sent. The upgraded server communication libraries provide a significant improvement in data transfer reliability and performance, with speeds up to 400% faster.

The new, innovative browser-based web client gives end-users direct access to creating, sending, viewing and downloading faxes from any web browser or web-enabled handheld device. Customized for up to a dozen different languages, users have direct fax access from a single hyperlink click, via emails or SMS text notifications.

Due to the continued strong demand for fax automation in medical, manufacturing and service industries, the new 7.5 release provides greater control and flexibility for both developers and end-users. A new improved workflow option, the custom save preferences allow incoming faxes to be automatically saved to any FAX server folder.
